Apple to copy Wii remote?
By Antonio Hernandez

Apparently everyone wants a piece of the success Nintendo has enjoyed. First, rumors that Microsoft is creating a Wiimote device, and now Apple may be trying to get in on the action.

According to Casualgaming.biz,, Apple filed a patent in 2006 that may or may not mimic Nintendo's Wiimote. The patent even explicitly states that the device could be used to control a characters movement via motion control.

Excerpt from patent:"The absolute x- and y-positions of [the] remote control can be used, for example, in video games to position a user's character or to otherwise track the movement of the remote control in a user's environment."

I don't really think this is that far-fetched, the AppleTV could be the perfect platform to launch this on.

From Playstation Day 2008: This better be true.
to bad EA sucks at everything they do and this game even if it plays exactly like that will suck. You wana know why, because EA spent to much time on sports game and now has no idea how to use all the buttons controllers come with. Also the AI will be mentally challenged. EA is garbage -- guest

From Is there a place for sex in games?
I am absolutely appalled by this. When I think of video games, I think of 007 or Mario Bros, not some perverted form of porn for immature 20 or 30-somethings that can't get a date. What are we teaching our young people? I understand that our culture is definitely becoming very ok with sex in the media, but is that what we all really want? Especially when the type of sex being shown is unsafe, dirty, and not to mention illegal? There are movies out there that show sex in a tasteful, but realistic way. GTA4 is not tasteful at all. And I'm not even old! I'm 20. It just makes me sick. -- guest
