This is Your Grandpa's Megaman
By BenPerLee

Ok, so news about Megaman 9 has been out for a while. And the news has been good! Coming out for the WiiWare download service, (and maybe Arcade and PSN, that's still not confirmed), the most important facet is that Megaman 9 is a straight up NES game. Yeah, that's right, although it's coming out for the Wii, and it's brand new, this game is flat-out old-school.

This is a hard-core game for a hard-core crowd. With the shop feature taken from older Megaman games, music new and taken directly from Megaman 2, and the first female robot ever, Splash Woman, Megaman 9 looks awesome. Those cheeky devils at GamesRadar got a fantastic first taste of the game, which is shaping up to be brutally difficult. Get ready boys and girls, Megaman is back.

Pachter slaps E3
I think E3 should be allowed to die, and not dragged out every year like the geriatric octogenarian patriarch at family Christmases. We have other shows, and the sterilisation of E3 has rendered it embarrassing and practically useless. It was never meant to be a corporate conference, but a celebration of all things game. It is no longer the party it used to be and the booth babes have moved on to younger, fitter models. Consign it to the history books and let us remember it as it used to be. -- mandrill

Tatsunoko vs. Capcom trailer
WHAT?! WHAT is with Capcom and this DBZ Budokai/tenkaichi/burst limit style thing now? Omfg... after this and SF4, Guilty gear and SNK are going to be, like, the last /true/ 2d fighters. which hurts my soul. -- TSC

It's offical, the end has come
Just when I get used to saying "Actiblizzion" now I have to insert Vivendi in there? I guess its going to be: "Activivendibizzion" -- Dylan
